In the preparation of this edition, the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) would like to thank the Standards Committee: Chairperson - William Stensson, Ontario Committee Member - Stuart Bronson, British Columbia Committee Member - Bob Chan, Ontario Committee Member - Christene Levatte, Nova Scotia Committee Member - Glen Lumis, Ontario Committee Member - Garfield Marshall, British Columbia Committee Member - Ray Shiverton, Quebec Committee Member - Dave Van Belle, British Columbia Committee Member - Len Smit, British Columbia Committee Member - Harold Voogd, Alberta Staff Coordinator - Joel Beatson / Joseph Salemi, CNLA Special acknowledgements to: Landscape Nova Scotia Horticultural Trades Association; Composting Council of Canada. As we work closely with our counterpart in the U.S. (The American Nursery and Landscape Association), we are confident that we have maintained a good line of conformity with the ANLA Standards to ensure easy movement of nursery stock to the U.S. The national Board of Directors of the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) is cognizant of the fact that these standards need periodic revision and invites input from members and associations. Compliance Language The principal function of the Standards is to help provide an aid to purchasers and vendors of nursery stock, to communicate with confidence by using a comprehensive and consistent set of measurements and specifications nomenclature. Compliance with the Standards assures that purchasers receive nursery stock that is consistent and which has been measured, sized and prepared for shipment in the manner expected.
