Landscape Industry Certified Designer
The Landscape Industry Certified Designer program is designed for ‘true’ landscape designers, with a focus on residential design/build. This certification is earned through a two-part process, first a written evaluation followed by a portfolio review by industry professionals.
Landscape Industry Certified Designer
The Landscape Industry Certified Designer designation provides an individual with a means of proving a high degree of proficiency as a landscape designer.
CNLA has developed three national certification programs to benefit the Landscape industry.  When individuals are designated as “Landscape Industry Certified”, the public places more value on what they do.  Give your business the upper hand by getting you and your employees certified.
Why should you hire a Landscape Industry Certified Designer for your next landscaping project?
The certification process consists of the completion of a written test and portfolio evaluation.
CNLA offers various types of marketing materials you can use to promote your certification.  Attend seminars and workshops at upcoming industry events to obtain your renewal credits and maintain your Landscape Industry Certified status for the upcoming year.
The dates and locations of the upcoming Certified Landscape Designer examinations.
In order to deal with the increase in the volume of portfolio submissions and encourage a quicker turn around the Designer Advisory committee has suggested three standard dates per year for portfolio submission.
The following materials will give Landscape Industry Certified Designer candidates a firm idea of what is expected from them.
All individuals holding CNLA certifications must recertify every two years.
Educational partner, DynaSCAPE Software offers candidates in process of obtaining their Landscape Industry Certified Designer designation, and graduates special offers on their software program.
